The Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral home. The funeral home was started in the early 1930's by Charles "Charlie" Adams, then known as the Adam's Funeral Parlor, in about 1951 James "Jimmy" Main purchased the funeral home from Mr. Adams after working for him for many years. Jimmy Main changed the name to the Main Funeral Home, a name it carried through the ownership of Andre DesLauries, whom died in 1986. At that time Jimmy ran the funeral home until August of 1987 when Gordon and Sue Armstrong purchased it. They changed the name to Main-Armstrong Funeral Home in 1992. They along with their daughter Terri operated the business from 1987 until Terri and her husband Reginald Charron purchased it in October of 2004. Terri and Reggie now own and operate the business under the current name of Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home, LLC.

Veterans

The American Flag

The blue field represents the sky that overlooks our land and denotes the watchfulness of God the Eternal.

The red stripes tell us of the blood, sweat and tears that has been and still are offered and conquered by our troops’ devotion to the responsible freedom of this country.

The white stripes boldly proclaim the peace that they helped and still help to bring out to future generations. This is all Veterans’ flag. This is our Spiritual Heritage. Remember this and all our Veterans with the tears of our minds and the Faith of our hearts.
