Biography

CAROL ANN (TREADWELL) KENNEDY, 62, of Fiske Street, Groveton died Friday July 9, 2010 at her residence.
Born August 27, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia a daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Midgette) Treadwell, she grew up in Virginia and was a graduate of the Princess Ann High School, class of 1965. Carol lived in Lancaster, NH for several years before moving to Groveton 12 years ago.
Carol LOVED NASCAR especially Jeff Gordon. She also followed Jeff Marshall’s racing career at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH and was his biggest fan. Carol also loved to put puzzles together and would even glue them so she could keep them afterwards. Before her illness stopped her, she enjoyed cross stitching and line dancing.
Carol is survived by her mother Dorothy Treadwell of North Carolina; five children Lynn Lazy of Virginia; Rochelle Kennedy of Florida; Shalene Kennedy of Groveton; Aaron Kennedy of Florida and Keith Kennedy II of Groveton; two step-sons Danny Kennedy of Virginia and Travis Kennedy of Tennessee; twenty grandchildren with one on the way; one great grandchild and two sisters, Sharon and Patti.
She was predeceased by her father and one son Keith Kennedy.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton with services following at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. David Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery.
