ADRIENNE BOUDRIAS, 89, of State Street, Groveton died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster with her loving family by her side. Born May 29, 1919 in St. da'Mase, Canada a daughter of the late Napoleon and Eugenie (Daigle) Charest, she has been a resident of Groveton since 1951, coming from Canada. Adrienne was a member of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish-St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton; the Daughters of Isabella; the church Community Affairs Group; and was a Hospitality Minister. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Auxiliary; loved to play Bingo; crocheting; knitting; sewing and spending time with her family. She worked for about ten years for the Manchester Knitted Fashions; then the mill in Groveton and other jobs. She was a volunteer at the Groveton Thrift Shop for several years and helped with the Senior Meals in Groveton for many years. Adrienne is survived by her daughter Raymonde Bilodeau and husband Donald of Lancaster; son Louis Boudrias of Groveton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother Hormidas Charest of Canada and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Urgel Boudrias on October 8, 2007; four sisters and four brothers. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. The Rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Church with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery.
