ALICE MARYANN BIGELOW, 98, died peacefully Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster. Born February 13, 1912 in Stratford Hollow, NH the daughter of Levi and Flora (Barron) Partigue, she lived most of her live on Bog Road until going to Country Village in 2002. She loved fishing and gardening. She was known as "Nana" to the kids around the Hollow. She is survived by three sons Roy N. Howland and wife Gloria of Nahunta, GA; Andrew L. Howland and wife Blanche of Gilman, VT; and Oscar M. Howland and wife MaryEllen of Lancaster, NH; 17 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her mother and father; two husbands Maurice Howland and Harry Bigelow; four brothers; six sisters and two grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Center Stratford Cemetery with Alta Chase, D Min. officiating.
