ALICE B. (ST. GERMAIN) PERRAS, 82, of Northumberland died peacefully at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on Monday, May 21, 2018, with her loving family by her side.

Alice was born on June 23, 1935, in Granby, P.Q. to Maurice and Anne (Sweeney) St. Germain. Alice moved to Northumberland from Granby in 1952 where she met Real Perras and married him on February 3, 1955. Alice was a member of the St. Marguerite d'Youville parish; St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton.

She was known as "The Classy Lady" by many of her family and friends. She loved playing BINGO; games on her tablet; word search puzzles; going to the casinos with her daughters and playing rummy. Alice was deeply loved by her family; she was a terrific Mom; great Memère; and loving sister and friend. She loved to spend time with her family and knit blankets for the grandbabies. Alice was known for just going with the flow.

Alice spent many winters in Florida and summers in New Hampshire with Real before he passed in 2009 and since then she has spent them with her sister Lisa.

Alice leaves behind her children Claire and husband Bruce Prosper of Pocola, OK; Dianne Pendleton and Chuck Thompson of Groveton; Robert Perras and wife Christine of Northumberland; Claude Perras and wife Laurie of Northumberland; Louise Collins and husband Mark of Groveton; Denise Freeman and husband Russell of Northumberland; Suzanne Batchelder and husband Brian of Groveton; Theresa Rohloff and husband Mark of Jacksonville, FL and Paul Perras and wife Lisa of Groveton; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; one sister Lisa Evans of Northumberland as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friend and sister-in-law Rejeanne Fregeau.

She was predeceased by one infant son Michael Perras; one grandson Tod Jay Collins; one great-granddaughter Jewelya Brown-Perras; and two brothers Serge St. Germain and Allen St. Germain.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am in the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery.
