ANTHONY JOSEPH "TONY" HANEY, 57, of Stark Highway, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Littleton Regional Health Care Center. Born on August 15, 1955 in Lancaster, NH a son Alfred E. Haney, Sr. and Jacqueline M. (Grondin) Haney, he was a lifelong resident of Stark. Tony was a self employed custodian and used to clean the banks and post offices in both Groveton and Lancaster. Before his eyes started failing he used to love to read and after he watched TV instead of reading. Tony is survived by his daughter Kristina Fortucci and husband Curtis of Groveton; son William Haney of Stark; four siblings Alfred "Gene" Haney, Jr. and wife Kim of Windsor, California; Susan A. Marshall of Florida; George E. Haney of Manchester, NH and Mary Heath and husband Bob of Stark; one granddaughter Anastasia Fortucci of Groveton and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by both his parents. At Tony's request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 10:30 am in the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark, with Fr. Matt Mason of All Saint's Parish in Lancaster officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Tony's name to a charity of one's choice.
