Obituary

ARMAND JOSEPH DUBE, 89, Country Village Center, Lancaster, NH, formerly of Groveton, NH; died peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 after declining health. Armand was born on June 13, 1925 in Stewartstown, NH a son of Archille and Leonilda (Benoit) Dube. He was raised in Whitefield, NH and attended the Whitefield School. He entered the Marine Corps in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. During his 40 years of employment he worked as a Papermaker at James River Corporation in Groveton. He retired in 1987. Armand loved his Bingo, playing cards, and gambling. He loved to eat crepes. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Groveton VFW 6808, American Legion Post 17, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his wife; Marion (Bolduc) Dube, of Lancaster. They married in June of 2014 and children; Virginia and Roger Cloutier, of Gorham; Donna and Roland Hopps, of Bullhead City, AZ; Paul and Linda Coy, of Lisbon; Nathan and Nedra Coy of Henderson, NV; Albert and Margo Dube of Haverhill, MA; Barbara and William Currier of Barre, VT; Don Michael and Janice Coy of Lisbon; Debbie and Kevin Lakin of Groveton; Margaret and Dana Ladd of Fairfax, VA; Rhonda and John Shatney of Groveton; Butch Germain and Vickie of Dalton; Randall and Leona Germain of NM; Sheila and Jerry Tobyne of Lancaster; Laverne Kay of Lancaster; Sandra Cote of Concord; Henry Bolduc of Haverhill, MA; Evelyn Williams of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by siblings; Renee Dube of North Haverhill; Farnard Dube of Lisbon; Leon Dube, Albert Dube, Paul Dube, Mary LeClere, and Adelard Dube all of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by (too many to count) grandchildren, (a slew) of great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, and many extended family members. Armand was predeceased by his parents; two sons Charles Coy, Jr. and Wilfred Dube; his first wife Margaret (Joyce) Dube in 1980; his second wife Theresa Dube in 1981; and his third wife Beatrice Seaver Dube in 2008. Calling hours for Armand will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Burial with Military Honors will be on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am in the St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Armand's name to the Salvation Army.
