ARNIE EUGENE "RUNNING BEAR" KRUPULA, SR. 69 of 5 Cottage Street, Groveton, NH died from a sudden illness on Tuesday April 17, 2007at his residence. Born February 16, 1938 in Willimantic, CT a son of Carl and Alice (Pearl) Krupula he has been a resident of Groveton for the past eight years coming from Contoocook. He lived most of his life in the Ossipee/Tamworth areas. He graduated Windham High School and went on to Ellis Tech in Danielson, Ct to receive his degree in mechanics and die technician. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving between the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Over the years he worked construction and as a truck driver, the last two years he was the maintenance and grounds keeper for Riverside Speedway in Groveton. Arnie loved racing, aviation and motorcycles, camping and hunting. Family always came first even if it was a friend's family. He was a kind, gentle and caring man whom will be missed by all whom knew him. He is survived by his children Phyllis Koncinski of Norwich, CT; Joanne Rukstela of Moosup, CT; Karen Collins of North Grosvenordale, CT; Cheryl Grillo of Mystic, CT; Christopher Krupula of Groveton, NH; Kim Defosse of Plainfield, CT; Jill Johnson of Raymond, NH and Arnie Krupula Jr. of Groveton, NH; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. One brother Bruce Krupula of Hampton, CT and one sister Hilda Mosely of Connecticut also survive him. He was predeceased by a daughter Robin and a sister Rita. At the family's request there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 4, 2007 at the Mountain View Baptist Church in Lancaster, with receiving of friends and family from 5:30 pm until 6:00pm. Services will be held at 6:00pm with Pastor Don Williams officiating. Services in Connecticut will be on Saturday May 5, 2007, place and time still to be announced. Burial will be in the South Cemetery in Hampton, CT. Memorial donations may be made in Arnie's name to the Riverside Speedway (Dwarf Car Trophy Fund) c/o Richard Therrien; P.O.
