BARBARA JANE (HALL) BENOIT, 74, of Graham Street, Groveton died peacefully at her home on December 7, 2014 after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. Born on April 1, 1940 in Groveton, NH one of ten children of Clifton R. and Nellie E. (Merchant) Hall, Barbara was a lifelong resident of Groveton. She was a graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1958. Barbara worked for many years as an envelope maker for Diamond International and Campbell Envelope, Co. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church and a very active member of the church. The church was her life. Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years Lawrence Benoit of Groveton; their daughter Sharon Benoit of Groveton; two siblings Dorothy Cook of West Rutland, VT and Addison Hall of Northumberland and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and seven siblings Bruce Hall; Ullalee Vance; Cliftene "Dinah" Cass; George Hall; Herbert Hall; Lottie Flanders and Nellie Meehan. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Inurnment will be Saturday, May 30,2015 at 10:00 am in the Northumberland Cemetery.
