Obituary

BENJAMIN EARL FRIZZELL, 86, of Milan, NH died peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Born on October 31, 1925 in Colebrook, NH a son of Albert Frizzell and Marcia (Terrell) Frizzell he was a resident of the North Country most of his life with the exception of 15 years in Leesburg, Florida. Ben was a veteran of the US Navy serving his country during WWII. Ben enjoyed farming and working with horses, playing cards with family and friends and teasing his sister Eva Knowlton every chance he got. He will be remembered by all of his family as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his sister Eva Knowlton and husband Clement of Keene, NH; his four children Diana Pond of Lafollette, Tenn.; Donna Gaudette and Debbie Henderson both of Groveton and Dennis Frizzell of Wildwood, FL; Eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Frizzell and Marcia Dingman, his wife Arlene (Kingston) Frizzell, and five brothers, Homer; Leo; Jay; Ray and Albert "Judi". As per Ben's wishes there will be no viewing and he will be cremated and buried next to his loving wife Arlene Frizzell who passed away on October 15, 2007. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark, NH. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
