BETTY LOU (MORANCIE) BARTLETT, 78, died peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at The Morrison in Whitefield where she had been a resident for almost two years.
Betty was born on May 5, 1942, in Lancaster, NH the daughter of Arthur Morancie and Olive (Portigue) Hartshorn and was a lifelong resident of the Groveton/Stark area.
Betty loved fishing, playing BINGO, and scratch tickets.
She is survived by her four children Deborah Beaton of Lancaster; Leslie Bartlett and wife Peggy of Stark, Brenda Fairweather and husband Ross of Lisbon, Nicholas Demers and wife Crystal of Groveton, ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two sisters Dot Wentzell of Rangley, ME and Florida, and Cleona Grimard of Littleton, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Lawrence "Buster" Morancie, Albert Morancie, and Robert Hartshorn.
Memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to either a youth fishing organization or the Make-A-Wish Foundation at wish.org
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. A Private family-only service will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring.
