BRENDA LEE (URAN) LANCTOT, 67, of Third St., Colebrook, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was born on September 14, 1956, in West Stewartstown, NH a daughter of the late Frank E. and Zelma E. (Forest) Uran.

Brenda grew up in Pittsburg, NH, and graduated from Pittsburg High School, class of 1975. Over the years, she worked in housekeeping for Coos County Nursing Hospital and at the Balsams Resort. She worked for Tillotson Rubber and Glove Company for several years.

Brenda loved doing puzzles; card games; and reading books, especially Steven King novels. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters Christiane Marsh and husband Wyatt of Colebrook; and Raymonde "Monie" DePalmer and husband James of Whitefield; five grandchildren Whitney (Jeff) Dingman; Brenda "Bre" Marsh; Robert Woodbury; Tori Marsh; and Dillon Brooks; eight great-grandchildren; one brother John Uran and one sister Gloria Sweatt both of West Stewartstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Carol Bunnell; Rose-Mary Bernard; Sylvia "Cookie" Bedard; Paul Uran; Roger Uran; Frank Uran, Jr.; and Steve Uran.

A Celebration of Brenda's life with burial in the Colebrook Village Cemetery will be held later this summer. A notice will appear in the papers and on the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home website.
