Obituary

CARL LYNWOOD "FUZZY" SHOFF, 72, died peacefully at his residence in Rotunda West, FL after a sudden illness. He was born on May 17, 1941 a son of Floyd Lynwood and Irene (Seavey) Shoff in Lancaster, NH. He was a graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1959. He then went on to Plymouth College and graduated in 1965. He received his Master's Degree from Salem State College. He taught at Pinkerton Academy from 1965 through 1969. He then moved to Plymouth and taught Social Studies, New Hampshire Government being his favorite; at Plymouth Area High School from 1969 until he retired in 1995. He participated in the "Close-up" program at Plymouth Area High School for thirteen years. After retirement "Fuzzy" Learned how to make golf clubs and made then until moving to Florida in 2013. Fuzzy loved trees and to be in the New Hampshire woods. In his earlier years he was an avid fly-fisherman and in his later years he was an avid golfer. He and his wife Nancy wintered in Florida from 2001 until 2013. He was a member of the Elk's Club in Plymouth and was a past trustee. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Nancy (LaBar) Shoff of Rotunda West, Fl; and his brother and sister-in-law Dean and Anna Schoff of Tuson, AZ. He was predeceased by his mother Irene Shoff when he was 2 years old; his father Lynwood Shoff in 1985 and mother Evelyn Shoff in January of 2013. There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family in the Northumberland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, NH.
