COREY D. WOODWARD, 36, died March 9, 2006 suddenly at his home in Grand Junction, CO., were he has been a resident for the past two years. Born December 21, 1969 in Lancaster, NH a son of David E. and the late Romona "Mona" (Gonyer) Woodward he was raise in Groveton and was a graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1988. Corey was employed as a truck driver for a local oil company in CO. He lived in Colorado for five years previously and worked for the Mesa County Sheriff's Department. Corey enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of a motorcycle riding club in Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his two dogs. Corey also loved spending time at Nash Stream Camp and with his family and friends. He will be deaply missed by all whom know him. He is survived by his two "children" Yogi and Jasmine; his father David Woodward of Groveton; sister Debbie and husband Eugene Montgomery of Groveton; brother Rick and wife Teri Woodward of Groveton and brother Alan and wife Becky Woodward of Berlin. He is also survived by one nephew Erin Montgomery of Berlin; and six nieces Heather Montgomery of Rye, NH; Teasha Montgomery of Groveton; Haley and husband Corey St. Cyr of Whitefield; Ashley Woodward and Allison Woodward both of Groveton and Kyra Woodward of Berlin along with one great nephew Jordan Montgomery of Berlin. He was predeceased by his mother Mona on July 19, 2000. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 17, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday March 18, 2006 at 11:00 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church; 11 State Street; Groveton. Corey will be buried in the spring in the Northumberland Cemetery.
