CORINNE NANCY (De BANVILLE) PLATT, 87 , of Graham St, Groveton, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Country Village Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster, were she had been a resident for the past several months.

Corinne was born on December 19, 1934, in Bloomfield, Vermont a daughter of the late Edgar A. and Mabel L. (Moore) DeBanville. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, she was the treasurer of the Stratford Alumni for many years.

Corinne worked as a lab tech for Wausau Papers before retiring in 1997, then she worked as a sales clerk for Ocean State Job Lots in Northumberland until she was unable to work due to arthritis in her hands.

She enjoyed snow machining in her younger years, line dancing, and shopping. Corinne and her husband John started dating in 1975 and were married on January 1, 1999.

Corinne is survived by her husband John Platt of Groveton; her son Gregg Marshall and wife Lisa of Groveton; granddaughter Nici Marshall of Denver, CO; her sister Shirley MacDow of Northumberland; several in-laws; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by in addition to her parents, one brother Teddy.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:00 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
