CYNTHIA ANN (PERKINS) WHITMAN, 57, of Page Hill Road, died peacefully at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Born on August 12, 1956 in Hartford, CT a daughter of Leonard and Rosemary (Pritchard) Perkins she was a graduate of White Mountain Regional High School class of 1974. She spent twenty years in Connecticut and New York and returned to Groveton in 2002. Cindy was an avid collector of Native American artifacts and loved all animals especially wildlife. Over the past several years she has taken care of her dad "Pops". She is survived by her father Leonard Perkins of Groveton; two sons Stanley "Tripper" Whitman and wife Donna of Groveton; Michael Whitman and wife Ashlee of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; four siblings Pamela Lurvey of Jefferson; Karl Perkins of Lancaster; Marie Perkins of Bethlehem; Lenny Perkins of Manchester, CT and Sue Edwards of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Rosemary Perkins. There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family in Riverton Cemetery in Jefferson. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, NH.
