DAVID G. HOROWITZ, 66, of Martha's Way in Stratford died peacefully January 2, 2011 at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster after a long illness. Born March 17, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York a son of Herbert and Isabella (Schiller) Horowitz, he has been a resident of Stratford for the past three years coming from Fall River, Mass. David was the owner and operator of Connolly Cabins and Campground. He was very active in the North Country ATV Club and the Groveton Trailblazers Snow machine Club. He loved watching FOX Television, fishing and had the gift to gab. David is survived by his parents of Sarasota, Florida; his wife of 29 years Bernadette Horowitz; three daughters Alayne White and husband David of Bristol, Rhode Island; Bridget Read and Stephanie Read both of Somerset, Mass; three grandchildren Michael White; Kelsey Ventgen and Alex Smith; one brother Robert Horowitz of Falls Church, Virginia and one sister Debbie Daniels of Burlington, Mass. He was predeceased by his son Michael Horowitz on November 20, 1995. At David's request there will be no services as he had a celebration of his life previously with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Northwoods Home Health and Hospice; 278 Main Street; Lancaster, NH 03584.
