DENNIS BRADFORD GRENIER, 73, of Hillside Ave, Groveton died peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Dennis was born on February 9, 1942 in Portland, Maine a son of Patrick and Gladys (Silver) Grenier. He was raised in Bethel, Maine; where he graduated from high school and then went on to receive his Technicians License. Before retiring he was a Furnace Technician and owned Grenier Heating. He has been a resident of Groveton for over twenty years. Dennis loved short-wave radios, boating and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a Veteran of the US Marines and a member of the American Legion, Post #17, Groveton. He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years Sandra (Sweatt) Grenier of Groveton; five children, Michael McMann and wife Romy of Groveton; Denise "Di Di" Grenier and significant other "Woody" of South Carolina; Tara Meder and husband Glenn of Piermont, NH; Patrick Grenier and significant other Mary of North Carolina; and Steven Bryant of Errol, NH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Cheryl Bennett and husband Donald of Bethel, ME, nieces and nephews. Calling hours for Dennis will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015; from 1-3 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. A funeral service will be on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm following calling hours at the funeral home with Pastor Roy Palmer,officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family in Wilsons Mills, ME.
