DIANNE MARIE HERBERT, 57, of Groveton, died peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Littleton Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Dianne was born on April 10, 1966, in Montpelier, Vermont the daughter of James Melvin and Marilyn Louise (Gibbs) Herbert.

Before her illness, She worked for many years for Pike Industries in the construction department.

Dianne was a graduate of the Roane County High School in Kingston, TN, class of 1984. She enjoyed snow-machining and snowshoeing, and she was an active member of the Groveton Trailblazers.

Dianne is survived by her mother Marilyn Herbert of Whitefield (formerly of Stark), one brother James D. Herbert, and wife Robin of Delaware, one sister Marcia Gardner, and husband Jamie of Richmond, VT, one nephew James Michael Herbert, and three nieces Amanda, Danielle and Michele.

Dianne was predeceased by her father James Melvin Herbert on May 21, 2019.

At Dianne's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
