Donald Theriault of Groveton, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 28,2010 at his home at the age of 69. Born in Berlin, the son of Arthur and Evangeline Theriault, he had been a resident of Groveton since 1969. Donald was a Veteran of the United States Army from 1958 to 1961 and a Veteran of the United States Navy from 1963-1965. He was a member of the American Legion Post #17 and a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Before retiring he worked as a Paper Mill Press Operator for Wausau Papers. Donald's greatest joy was his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting. He is survived by his wife Arlene (Donovan) Theriault of Groveton, a son Lee Theriault, Sr. of Lunenburg, Vt., daughters Donna Hamilton and husband David of Groveton, and Suzanne Page and husband Scott of Alstead, brother Arthur "Pete" Theriault of Berlin, 7 grandchildren Lee Jr., Corey, Ariel, Erin, Nicole, Erica, and Kevin. He was predeceased by his parents and a grandson Joshua Hamilton. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 30 at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 31 at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton at 11:00 a.m. with Father Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at the St. Francis Cemetery in Groveton.
