DOROTHY "DOT" LORRAINE (MEACHAM) JOHNSON, 93, of Northside Road in Stark died peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, NH where she had been a resident since April 2016.

Dot was born on May 31, 1923 in Ashford Hollow, New York a daughter of Manley and Myrtle (Rich) Meacham. She was a resident of the Groveton and Stark areas for most of her life. Dot was a member of the Groveton United Methodist Church. She loved to knit and cook.

Dot is survived by one daughter-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Nason of Stark, NH; her two daughters Shirley McMurry of New Jersey and Evelyn Mae Bevens and husband John of Watertown, New York; seven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Daniel Nason, Sr. in 1971; son Daniel Nason, Jr. in 1992; second husband Ernest Johnson in 2009; son Larry Nason in 2014; two sisters Iola Howard and Clairebell Smith and one brother Leon Meacham.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 5pm – 8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.  Graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday May 20, 2017 in the Northumberland Cemetery.
