Dorothy Anne (Patton) Perry, 87, of Brown Road, Groveton died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, after a lengthy illness.
Dorothy was born on November 28, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of George C. and Evelyn H. (Bloomer) Patton. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School in Stoneham, MA. After marrying her husband Ralph R. Perry they moved to Lynn, MA where she resided until moving to Lancaster, NH nine years ago and then to Groveton six months ago.
Dorothy loved reading; working on puzzles and was a fabulous seamstress. Over the years she was a self-employed housekeeper.
Dorothy was a very loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her five children; Cheryl Colby and husband Stephen of Groveton; Linda Nelson of Jones Port, ME; Rick Perry and wife Charlene of Colebrook, NH; Robert "Bob" Perry of Groveton; and Joanne Baribeau and husband Jonathan Cordova of Lynn, MA; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers Donald Patton of Indiana; Kenneth Patton of Hudson, MA; and Richard Patton of Hancock, NH; nieces, and nephews.
At Dorothy's request, there will be no service. Burial will be Lynn, MA with her husband Ralph who predeceased her on June 6, 1995. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
