EDDIE J. "JACK" PINETTE, 82, formerly of Groveton, died peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Hanover Terrace in Lebanon, NH where he had been a resident for the past couple of years. Jack was born on July 5, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas and was a lifelong resident of Groveton. Before retiring he was a truck driver and hauled over-the-road for DeCato Brothers. Jack was a veteran of the US Air Force retiring September 1, 1972 with twenty years and one month of service. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Jack is survived by his two sons Dennis and Claudette Pinette of Lebanon and Robert and Francine Pinette of Groveton; one daughter Lisa Cloutier of California; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren three siblings Shirley Sawyer; Norma McCrae and William "Bill" Wilkinson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by the love of his life Carolyn J. (Marshall) Pinette on October 29, 2010. Per Jack's request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service for Jack and his wife Carolyn with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the St. Francis Cemetery in Groveton, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Church officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
