EDNA A. FULLER, 97, of North Stratford died peacefully Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital with her family by her side. Born July 21, 1913 in North Stratford, NH a daughter of Edward and Annie (Phillips) Fuller, she was born in and lived in the same house her whole life. She graduated from Stratford High School and later married Darwin Fuller. For her 97 years as a resident of North Stratford she was the Town Clerk up until she retired at the young age of 80 years. She was a member of the Stratford Grange for 80 plus years, was very involved in the school and was an active member and trustee of the First Baptist Church. Edna was noted for her baked beans at the church suppers. She was a cemetery trustee for many years and was known as the Town Historian. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making quilts for the church and family. She touched the lives of so many people with her love and generosity. Edna is survived by three daughters Louanne Solmo and husband John of Pembroke, Mass; Darlene Balch and husband Edward of North Stratford, NH and Annie Didsbury and husband Peter of Columbia, NH; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Darwin in 1995, a daughter Lolita Forbes in August 2010, a brother William Fuller; a sister Pauline Hunt and granddaughters Linda and Casandra. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 18, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the First Baptist Church in North Stratford, with Rev. Cindy Grassi, pastor officiating.
