EDWARD JOSEPH "FRENCHY" GAGNON , 68 of Central Street, Lisbon, NH died peacefully at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a short illness on February 23, 2016.

"Frenchy" was born on July 15, 1947 in Berlin, NH a son of Roger Edward and Alice (Langlois) Gagnon.  He grew up in Berlin and lived most of his life in the northern NH area including Littleton and Lisbon, where he has been a resident for the past eight years.

"Frenchy" enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his three sisters Lorraine Bourassa and husband Richard of Groveton; Corrine Jolin and husband Joseph and Doris Desantis both of Ft. Myers, FL; one son Donald Gagnon and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son Michael Gagnon.

Memorial calling hours for Lorraine and "Frenchy" will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be held on March 19, 2016 at 11:30 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Inurnment for both will be on Lorraine's birthday; May 28, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Northumberland Cemetery.
