EDWARD LESLIE YOUNG, 73, of Melcher Court, Groveton, died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster, after a brief illness.

Ed was born on March 2, 1951, in Berlin, NH the son of the late Leslie W. and Florence (Webb) Young. Ed grew up in Berlin and over the years lived in Newport, NH, Florida, and Elmira, NY before coming to Groveton about five years ago.

Ed was a member of the New Hampshire Rolling Thunder Chapter 2, he was previously a member of the Florida Chapter 1. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, hunting, and collecting and playing guitar.

Ed is survived by his son Donald Young of Lancaster daughter Lisa (Ron) Delisle of Meredith, four grandchildren Heather, Nathanael, Isaac, and Spencer, and one sister Linda Riff of Elmira, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Church officiating. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the Center Stratford Cemetery.
