EILEEN S. (FLUERY) BLODGETT, 87 of Spur Road died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster, just 23 days after 87 th birthday. Born May 3, 1921 a daughter of Cashious "Charles" and Alice (Boudle) Fleury, she was a lifelong resident of North Stratford. Eileen was a member of the Stratford Hollow Methodist Church. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a past member of the Stratford Grange. She loved to garden, read, do crossword puzzles, play Bingo; crochet, knit and do circle word puzzles. Eileen is survived by her children Thurman Blodgett and wife Corinne of Stratford; Waverly Robinson and husband Herman of Berlin; Donna Ramsdell and husband Richard of Groveton; Tim Blodgett and wife Delores of Groveton; Patsy Ruggiero and husband Joseph of Derry; and Valerie Reed and husband Wayne of Jefferson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Blodgett on Nov. 21, 1979; her grandson Ricky Blodgett on April 1, 1985 and grandson Thomas Connary on June 26, 1993. Calling hours were held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral services were on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Groveton United Methodist Church with Pastor Aaron Cox officiating. Burial followed in the Center Stratford Cemetery.
