EUGENE "GENE" A. FYSH, 65, of Brown Road, died July 4, 2009 at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster after a lengthy illness. Born July 31, 1943 in Lancaster, NH a son of Clifton E. and Carol (Young) Fysh he resided in Groveton most of his life. Gene loved the races and even received a plaque from Riverside Speedway for being such a good supporter. He loved to watch wrestling and spending time with his dog Cheyanne. Gene is survived by his two sons Marc Fysh and girlfriend Sharon Bresette of Stratford and Jeff Fysh of Groveton; two granddaughters Tricia Fysh and Ashlee Fysh; three siblings Edward Fysh of Lyndonville, VT; Elizabeth Couture and husband Jean Paul of Jefferson and Robert Fysh of Northumberland along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gene was predeceased by his parents and his wife Karen (Tisdale) Fysh on September 27, 2003. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Cox of the Groveton United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, NH.
