Died July 22, 2006 at Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, NH. Born in West Stewartstown, NH the daughter of David and Avis (Tirrel) Shatney. She lived 49 years in Pittsburg, NH before moving to the Groveton and Whitefield area. She worked for many years as a Nurses Aid at the Coos County Hospital in West Stewartstown, NH. Worked with the Cancer society for over 25 years. A member of the Pittsburg Guides Assoc. After moving from Pittsburg she was Police Dispatcher for the Groveton Police Dept. She attended the Whitefield Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter Martha A. Sidney of Littleton, NH Two Grandchildren, Eight GreatGrandchildren, and Two GreatGreatGrandchildren. Many Nieces, Nephews and Friends. She was predeceased by her husband Willard Scott. A memorial service is planned for a later date at the Whitefield Baptist Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hollow Cemetary, Pittsburg, NH. Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home LLC is assisting the family with arrangements.
