• FRANCENE S. (WALKER) BROWN, 48, of Northwood, died unexpectedly at Concord Hospital on November 8, 2019, after a sudden illness.
  Fran was born in Lancaster, NH on December 5, 1970, a daughter of Sharon (Savage) Welch and the late Richard Walker, Jr. She was raised in Groveton and was a graduate of Groveton High School.

Francene was employed as a business administrator for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services for over 20 years.
She enjoyed traveling, Rving, shopping and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her number one priority was being a mom.
Francene is survived by her mother Sharon Welch of Groveton; her son Hunter Brown of Northwood; Hunter's father and her former husband Matthew Brown of Epsom; three sisters Paula Harris and husband Wade of Clarksville, TN; Celena Davenport and husband Dan of Whitefield; Kim Randall and husband Rob of Littleton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her step-father Merlyn John Welch in 2018 and her father Richard Walker, Jr in 1987.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, with Fr. Timothy Brooks of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial of cremains will be held on July 31, 2020, at 11:00 am in the Northumberland Cemetery.
