FRANCOISE "FRAN" MICHELLE (HARRIMAN) JONES, 73 of Route 3, North Stratford died peacefully Friday, August 3, 2012 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster after a lengthy illness. Born January 20, 1939 in Paris France a daughter of Wilber and Maria (Cobianci) Harriman she moved to the United States in 1944 and resided for many years in Connecticut before moving to New Hampshire in 1960 where she lived in Twin Mountain before moving to North Stratford. Fran took care of her mother for several years and was a Real Estate Sales woman, she also was a waitress because she enjoyed being with other people and this allowed her to have that contact that she enjoyed so much. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Littleton Chapter. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Lafontaine of North Stratford; one brother Robert Harriman of Milford, CT; three grandchildren Dustin Starr; Ashley Lafontaine and Jessica Lafontaine; one great-grandson John Starr; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Fran is predeceased by her parents; son Marc David Jones and a sister Renee Fuller. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 5:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Church officiating.
