FREDERICK JAY TAYLOR, 45, of Second Street; Groveton died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 10, 2011. Jay was born August 4, 1966 in Manchester, Connecticut a son of Frederick Glen Taylor and Mary Ellen (Watkins) Taylor. He has been a resident of Groveton since 2005 coming from Connecticut. Before becoming disabled, Jay worked for J.C. Penney in the warehouse area and on a Pitney-Bose machine in the mailing department for Etna Insurance. Jay loved the guitar and music. He was a wonderful man, loved his family, and was his mom's handyman being able to fix almost anything. Jay is survived by his wife of 18 years Karen (Platek) Taylor of Groveton, NH; his mother Mary Ellen (Watkins)Taylor of Guildhall, VT; brother and sister-in-law John and Sharon Taylor of Manchester, Connecticut; sisters and brother-in-laws Martha and Timothy Hallberg of Madison Heights, Virginia; Jennifer and James Noyes of Utica, New York and Cynthia and Major Philip Bascom of Valparaisco, Florida; two aunts; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Jay was predeceased by his father Frederick Glen Taylor in 2000. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Northumberland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
