GERLDINE LOUISE "MICKEY" (GEROW) HART, 79, of Main Street, North Stratford, died peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. She was born on December 2, 1930 in Hersey, Maine a daughter of Arvill and Helen (Wellington) Gerow. Mickey worked in grocery stores like Fortin Variety in Maine and the Big A in Columbia. She also worked as a chamber maid and at Bocks in Lancaster, NH and for Home Health taking care of the sick. Her most enjoyable and rewarding job of all was that of being a wife, mother and homemaker. Mickey enjoyed doing puzzles; playing cards; reading; camping; NASCAR racing and spending time with her family. Mickey is survived by her six children Helen Lynch and husband Dave of Priest Lake, Idaho; Joseph Fortin III and wife Tammy of North Stratford, NH; Theresa Fortin and companion Bill Guirard of Whitefield, NH; Paul Fortin of North Stratford, NH; Anthony Fortin and companion Joann Peters of Groveton; Howard Hart and wife Lisa of Burnside, PA.; two step-children Richard Hart and wife Kathy of Groveton; Bonnie Bouchard and husband Arthur of Maine; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four sisters Theresa Kimball; Joan Greenleaf; Lorraine Rivers and husband Bill; and Lavonia "Bonnie" Thiboutot and husband Henry all of Maine; and one brother Bobby "Parker" Gerow of Maine; several nieces, nephews and extended extended family who called her Mom and Grammie. She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Fortin II on August 18, 1970; her second husband Ernest Hart on February 21, 1990; an infant daughter; and six siblings, Frances Ordway; Albina Jones; Idis Evora Gerow; William "Billy" Gerow; Loren Gerow and Arvill Joseph Gerow Jr. and one step-daughter Geneva "Jean" Hart. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in North Stratford.
