Obituary

GERMAINE DAIGLE, 91 of Deanbrook Drive, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster, after a brief illness. She was born in Canada, P.Q. on September 20, 1916 a daughter of Edmond and Alexina (Cloutier) Bouchard. Germaine came to the States in 1961 and lived in Lancaster until moving to Largo, Florida in 1987 and returning to Groveton in 2007. Before retiring she worked as a seamstress for MKF Manufacturing. When the movie "The Rose" came to theaters, Germaine was 68 years old and went to the movie theater by herself in the city and saw the movie six times. She was a loving lady who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters Claudette Huntington and her husband David, Sr. of Groveton and Claire Brinn of Litchfield, NH along with six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters and one on the way. She was predeceased by one grandson David L. Huntington, Jr. in 1988. At Germaine's request there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
