GRACE (PERELLA) ARSENAULT, 81, of Hogback Road, North Stratford died peacefully late Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Week's Medical Center in Lancaster. Born February 18, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT a daughter of the late Domenico and Rosaria (Castagnozzi) Perella, she has been a resident of North Stratford for 47 years coming from Bridgeport, CT. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in North Stratford. She enjoyed knitting; crocheting and watching TV. Before retiring in 1994 Grace worked as a factory laborer for Tillotson Rubber for over 22 years. Grace is survived by her son Raymond Arsenault, Jr. and wife Lorraine of North Stratford; daughter Marianne Stebenne and husband Donald of Port Orange, Fl; sister Jennie Faiella and husband Phil of Bridgeport, CT; four grandchildren Jamie Arsenault; Terry Kenny; Megan Stebenne and Shannon Stebenne; two great grandchildren Rhiannon Frizzell and Trevor Frizzell; brother-in-law George Bottone of Bridgeport, CT; Sister-in-law Lorraine Potter and husband Linwood Potter, Jr. father-in-law Oliver Arsenault all of North Stratford. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years Raymond Arsenault, Sr. on Sept. 8, 1997; brother Pete Perella; sisters; Mary Bottone; Rose Balascak; Louise Samsel and Connie Rainieri. At Grace's request there will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church; 59 Main Street in North Stratford, with Fr. Daniel Deveau pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Stratford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
