Obituary

GREGORY ADIN BARTLETT, 63, of Bog Road in Stratford, died Thursday, November 1, 2018, after a short illness at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster.

Greg was born on August 30, 1955, in Gilman, VT a son of Cecil A. and Vera I. (Kelly) Bartlett. He has been a resident of the Stratford/Groveton area most of his life.

Greg was a graduate of the Stratford High School, class of 1971. Over the years he worked at various jobs in the area. In his younger years, he enjoyed motorcycling. In more recent years he enjoyed kayaking and had kayaked most of the local waterways. Greg said, "You never know what waterways are like until you are on them."

Greg is survived by his father, Cecil A. Bartlett of Stratford; three siblings Barbara Worster and husband Gary of Guildhall, VT; Norman Bartlett and wife Diane of North Stratford; and Lorraine Bartlett of North Stratford; his constant companion, his dog Chuggy and nieces and nephews.

Greg was predeceased by his mother Vera I. Bartlett on May 8, 2018, and one brother Scott Bartlett Dec. 22, 2012.

At Greg's request, there will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 7. 2018 at 11:00 am in the Center Cemetery in Stratford, NH (next to Scott's Bigrock Campground) with Fr. Timothy Brooks officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
