HARRY F. HOPPS, 75, of Town Garage Road, Stark, died peacefully at his home, after a brief illness, with his loving family and friends by his side. Born on August 9, 1936 in Groveton, NH a son of Francis W. Hopps, Sr. and Blanche (Woods) Hopps he was a lifelong resident of Groveton and Stark. He was a graduate of Groveton High School and continued his schooling to receive his Carpenters Certificate. Before retiring he was a self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker. Harry enjoyed fishing and spending time at Sylvia's Lunch Break and Scorpio's Restaurant, which he had remodeled. The family would like to give a very special "Thank You" to Steve and Stacey Hodge for all they have done. Harry is survived by his children Lynn Sullivan of Florida; Susan Hopps of Stark and Bradley Hopps and wife Concetta of Stark; his three grandchildren, Karissa, Danielle and Brian; several siblings Hazel Bedell; Helen Hopps; Jean Dingman; Florence Dupuis; Linda Roy; Janet Rocha and Roland Hopps along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; wife Madeline-Maxine Martha (Bunnell) Hopps on November 1, 2009; and five siblings Gloria Alexander; Norma Gadwah; Bernard Hopps; Elwin Hopps; and Francis W. Hopps, Jr. A celebration of Harry's life will be held at the Hopps residence on Town Garage Road in Stark on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 12 noon to 3:00 pm with burial following immediately in the Emerson Road Cemetery. Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
