IRENE HELEN J. (BINASIEWICZ) PERLZAK, 81, of O'dell Park in Groveton, died suddenly Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Week's Medical Center after a fall at home. Born March 10, 1928 in Wilmington, Delaware a daughter of Frank and Helen (Smulski) Binasiewicz, she moved to Groveton in 1987. Before retiring she helped her first husband Anthony Eksterowicz own and operate the Eagle Hotel in Groveton. She was a member of the St. Hedwigs Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Groveton. After her second husband Frank Perlzak died she moved back to Wilmington for a little over a year and then came back to Groveton. Irene is survived by her two sons Anthony J. Eksterowicz of Harrisburg, Virginia and Ronald Eksterowicz of New Hampshire and one daughter Linda C. Barry of Wilmington, Delaware. There will be no services at this time. Graveside services will be held in the spring in the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH where she will be buried with her husband Frank. Arrangements are under the care of Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
