JANICE ALFREDA (DUPREY) ANDERSON, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at The Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, where she had been a resident for the past two years.

Janice was born on November 30, 1936, in Blackstone, MA., the daughter of the late George Duprey, Sr. and Evelyn (Haines) Duprey. Janice was a graduate of the Blackstone High School, class of 1954. She moved to Stark, NH in 1987, coming from Bellingham, MA.

Janice loved crocheting. She was a life member of the Groveton American Legion Auxiliary, Post #17.

She is survived by her two sons William "Bill" Anderson of Freedom, NH; and Kevin Anderson of Washington State; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Janice was predeceased by her husband Herbert William Anderson, JR on March 31, 1993; her parents and one brother George Duprey, Jr.

There will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the Emerson Road Cemetery, with Terri A. Charron, Esq. officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
