JANICE ANNE ROGERS , 80 years old of Stark, NH passed away on July 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Janice was born in Lancaster, NH on March 19, 1936 the daughter of Howard and Elsie (Bryant) Merrow. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1954.  She was one of the original Elves at Santa's Village.

Janice is predeceased by her love of her life of 62 years her husband Murray G. Rogers and her parents Howard and Elsie Merrow and a son-in-law Robert Bresnahan.

Janice leaves behind her children Shari and Bill Edwards of Oxford, ME; Cindy and Rolland Viens of Shelburne, NH; Murray R. "Rick" and Rebecca Rogers of Stark, NH; Linda Bresnahan of Gap, PA and Shane and Crystal Rogers of Stark, NH; 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind a sister Gail Page of Claremont, NH; three brothers Richard Merrow of Littleton, NH; Carleton Merrow of Jefferson, NH and John and Sherry Merrow of Jefferson, NH and several nieces and nephews.

Janice loved visits from her family and friends and was always happy to share her home with anyone that stopped by.  Janice was very artistic, painting landscapes that became very special gifts for her children.  She also enjoyed decorating birthday and wedding cakes for her children and grandchildren. Janice loved tending her gardens and always had a beautiful summer flower garden.

There will be no calling hours.  There will be a celebration of life and reception for family and close friends on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Janice's home with Rev. Dean Stiles officiating.
