JAYNE LOIS (CONNARY) LEIGH, 73, formerly of Groveton, died peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Country Village-Genesis Elder Center in Lancaster, where she had been a resident since December of 2019.

Jayne was born on July 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Edward E and Lena M (Carrier) Connary. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, Class of 1968, and lived in Stratford until moving to Groveton in 1987.

Jayne loved cooking, gardening, caring for children, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her three children Lori Leigh of Groveton, Jeffrey Leigh of Hope Mills, NC, and Gary Leigh (Nicole) of Passumpsic, VT; five siblings Harland Connary, and Ronald Connary, both of Stratford, Susan Connary of Groton, VT, Ervin Connary of Milan and Mary Lapine of Groveton; ten grandchildren Amy (Krista), Adam, Kristie, Kelsey, Jacob, Zackery, Christian, Thomas, Andraya, and Alana; four great-grandchildren Eden, Théoden, Connor, and Evan; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Jayne's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Jayne's name to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03766.
