Joanne Young 76 , formerly of Maidstone VT died unexpectedly on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at home in Salisbury NC after a brief illness.

Joanne was born at home on December 26, 1940 in Groveton, NH the daughter of Grace (Mills) Moffett and Percy Treamer. She was a resident of Groveton for many years until she moved to Maidstone VT.

Joanne is survived by one sister Judith Treamer of Gorham NH; two sons Randall Breault of Mooresville, NC; Jeffrey Breault of Waitsfield VT; two daughters Kelly (Breault) Dugrenier  and her husband Kevin of Northfield NH; Tracy (Breault) Symonds and her husband Howard of Salisbury NC; 8 grandchildren Patrick, Samantha and Christopher Reynolds all of North Carolina. Alissa Lawrence of Center Barnstead NH,  Shayna Dugrenier of Groton CT,  Keith Lacroix of Fremont NH,  Geoffrey and Heidi Breault of Barre VT. and one great grandson Chase Reynolds – whom she just adored to the moon and back. Her little sunshine as she called him.

She was predeceased by her father Percy Treamer in 1998; her mother Grace Moffett in 2004, her husband Joseph "Joe" Young in 2010 and one grandson Benjamin Paul Breault in 1982.

Joanne enjoyed time with her family and especially Sunday's with her sister Judy.  She probably didn't love cooking, but we all loved her "podada" salad, peanut butter fudge and lemon lush.  She also enjoyed reading, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and quilting (at times). She loved the land where she lived in Maidstone, enjoying four wheeling and time at the pond.  She loved the ocean and was able to spend time at both the Maine and North Carolina coast the last few years.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 10-11:30 AM with service to follow at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.  Inurnment will follow the service at the Center Cemetery in Stratford NH.
