ELMER ALBERT "JOE" YOUNG, 71 of Route 102 Maidstone died suddenly Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his residence. Born May 15, 1939 in Lancaster, NH a son of Albert and Marie (Mailhot) Young he has resided in Maidstone since 1950 coming from Stratford Hollow. Over the years Joe worked as a farmer and a logger. Joe enjoyed cutting wood and four-wheeling, he also used to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Mason Lodge in Guildhall, VT. Joe is survived by his wife of 15 years Joanne (Treamer) Young of Maidstone; two sons John E. Young of Maidstone and Bryan A. Young and wife Lisa of West Stewartstown, NH; three step children Randy Breault and wife Courtney of Morrisville, NC; Kelly Dugrenrer and husband Kevin of Concord, NH; Tracy Reynolds and her significant other Howard Symonds of Salisbury, NC; and Jeffrey Breault ad wife Bonnie of Barre, VT; two grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren; one brother Norman Young and wife Edna of Maidstone; one sister Rita Gonyer and husband Larry of Bow, NH; and several nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents and one son Charles W. Young on June 21, 1995. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Center Stratford Cemetery in North Stratford, NH. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
