JOHN BENJAMIN GOSLANT, JR., 43, of State Street Groveton died suddenly on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his residence. Born in Woodsville, NH on September 21, 1968 a son of John B. Goslant, Sr. and Nancy L. (Foster) Goslant, he grow up in Barnet, VT and has lived in Groveton for the last 17 years as to take care of his Uncle Fred. John graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. He loved woodworking and had a shop in his apartment. One of John's favorite things to do was to play pranks on his family and friends. He was employed at Perras Lumber over the past several years. John is survived by his mother Nancy L. Goslant of Woodsville, NH; two sisters Wendy Ruprechat of Bath, NH; and Cindy Goslant of Woodsville; two brothers Donald LeClair and wife Dawn of Bath and Tim Goslant and wife Cindy of Woodsville, NH; 14 nieces and nephews and one great-nephew; and his special Uncle Fred Goslant of Groveton. He was predeceased by his Father John B. Goslant, Sr. and his grandparents. There will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Peacham Cemetery on Town Road in Peacham, VT. Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
