JOHN HENRY MCGUIRE, 81 of Eustis, Florida passed away on November 6, 2009. Born in Groveton, NH on April 30, 1928, the son of Harry and Rilma (Prince) McGuire, he was a carpenter by trade and owned and operated "My Sons Pub" in Cherry Creek, NY for many years. He was a lifelong avid hunter; fisherman and organizer of backyard feasts and family gatherings. He was a master chef of the festival pig roast and a gregarious friend and helpful neighbor. He was a lifelong member of the Hose #4 Fire Department in Dunkirk, NY. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandy McGuire; three children; Trudy Devers and husband Ken of Colorado Springs, CO; Cydne McGuire if Littleton, NH and John McGuire and wife Amber of Whitefield, NH; seven siblings Betty Gould and Belvah King both of Groveton; Dean McGuire of Fall River, Mass.; Barbara Huber and husband Jack of Gowanda, NY; Gloria Nugent of Dublin, Ireland; Gary McGuire of Guildhall, VT and James McGuire of East Hartford, CT; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Barry and a brother Forrest. Inurnment of his cremains will be at the convenience of the family in the Center Stratford Cemetery in Stratford, NH.
