JOSEPH DOUGLAS CIPOLLA, 59, of Bloomfield, died peacefully at his home with his loving mother by his side due to complications of COVID Long-haul on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Joseph was born on October 29, 1963, in New Milford, Connecticut the son of William Cipolla and Lorraine Washburn. He has been a resident of the Bloomfield area since 1992, coming from Connecticut.

Before becoming ill from COVID-19 on January 16, 2022, he worked at NSA in Groveton.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting; fishing; going for walks with the dogs, and just sitting by the fire looking at the stars and watching the fireflies. He loved visiting with his friends in person and online. Joe simply said "loved Italian food".

Joe is survived by his mother Lorraine Washburn of Bloomfield, VT; sister Rachael Emily Jern her husband Gregory of Suwanee, GA and her two sons, Jordan and Jake.

A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
