JOSEPH LUCIEN"LOU" MEUNIER, 71 died January 16, 2010 in Fanning Springs, Florida. Born in Groveton, NH on November 14, 1938 a son of Philip and Louise (MacLure) Meunier, he lived in the North Country most of his life before retiring to Florida ten years ago. Joseph is survived by his wife of 24 years Sarah L. (Silva) Meunier with whom he owned and operated the Wander Inn in Pittsburg, NH for 18 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose, VFW, AM VETS and the Knights of Columbus. He is also survived by his loving chilren Laurie (Meunier) Martell, Cindy (Meunier) O'Neill and Dan Meunier, loving grandchildren Rick, Keith and Sheri Martell, Jason, Jonathan and Shannon O'Neill, James and Nicole Meunier all from Mass.; siblings Roger Meunier of Littleton, NH; Alice Major of Island Pond, VT; Irene Roy of Groveton; Willie Meunier of Minot, ME. He was predeceased by one brother Leo Meunier. Memorial graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 in the Northumberland Cemetery at 11:00 am. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the American Legion of your choice.
