JOSEPH TRACY TETREAULT, 79, of Winter Street, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH after a lengthy illness with his family by his side. Born September 15, 1926 in North Stratford, NH a son of Joseph and Odelia (Couture) Tetreault, he has been a life long resident of the Stratford/Groveton areas. Before retiring he owned and operated his own automobile garage including the Texaco station (Tracy's Texaco) in Groveton when it was located across from the elementary school. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Groveton American Legion, Post #17 and Groveton Trail blazer's snow machine club. He worked Bingo at the Legion; enjoyed playing pool; fishing; picking blackberries; antique cars and his camp at 14 ½. He was a real family man. Tracy is survived by his wife of 55 years Doris Tetreault of Groveton; his six children and their spouses Pamela Styles and Holly Caron of Groveton; Joe (Monika) Tetreault of Fayetteville, NC; Valerie (David) Gearty of Lebanon, ME; Peggy (Tom) Doyon and Stanley Tetreault all of Groveton. Thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews along with his siblings and their spouses Sr. Jeanne Tetreault of Windom, NH; Rita (Laurent) Fournier of North Haverhill, NH; Raymond (Loraine) Tetreault of Groveton; Leona (Raoul) St. Cyr of Milford, NH; Roland (Jackie) Tetreault of Wilton, NH; Richard (Francis) Tetreault of Stratford, NH; Armand (Lorraine) Tetreault of North Haverhill, NH and Larry (Diane) Tetreault of Groveton also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Church, Groveton officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the spring in the Northumberland Cemetery.
