JOSEPHINE P. (HALL) PEARSON RICHARDS, 81 of Brown road, Groveton, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, Colebrook after a lengthy illness. Born August 3, 1925 in London, England a daughter of Frederick G. and Ellen M. (Betts) Hall, she was a resident of Groveton for the past 15 years. Josée was a 15 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary post # 17 in Groveton. When she was able to she enjoyed embroidering. She loved he bird and dog Brandy. She is survived by her son Kevin Pearson of England; two step-daughters Joan Garland and husband Peter of Arizona and Mae Cantin and husband Reynold of Englewood, FL; one step-son William "Bill" Glidden and wife Eleanor of Groveton; two grandsons; nine step-grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Frank J. Richards on December 3, 2006; her parents and her twin sister. Calling hours will be held on Friday January 12, 2007 from 2-4 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home, Groveton. Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Lawrence Clough, officiating. Burial will be in the Northumberland Cemetery on Saturday January 13th at 10:00 am.
