JOYCE BEATRICE McKAY, 70, of Wooddale Apartments, North Stratford, died peacefully March 19, 2007 at Week's Medical Center, Lancaster after a lengthy illness, with her son by her side. Born May 15, 1936 in New York City, New York the daughter of John and Beatrice (Collins) McKay, she has been a resident of North Stratford for nine years coming from Brooklyn, NY. Before retiring she worked as a designer of woman's clothing. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church; Groveton. Joyce is survived by her only child, her son Stephin McKay of Stratford Hollow. There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; Groveton.
